Blast from the Past

In the past, I would always be playing sports everywhere I went. In elementary school during recess I would play some sport related activity. Same goes for middle school, full of sports activities. Once I hit high school, a lot of these activities went away and I wasn’t able to play with my friends all the time. In fact, all of them went away and I haven’t been playing sports with my friends since I entered high school. However, I’ve recently been playing many sports with my friends and it’s been lots of fun. I feel like I’m in middle school again when I was able to play sports with my friends at school and when I played sports outside of school. I’ve mostly been playing basketball, but just this past weekend we also played flag football which was lots of fun.

I’ve Worked Hard

This Saturday I helped my best friend and his family move. They have a history of moving to many different houses so it wasn’t new to them and it wasn’t new to my family either. They moved closer to the local high school that we both attend and now transportation will be easier for both his family and mine. Believe it or not, but I feel that my friends new location of his house will strengthen our friendship even more. Its moving days like these where true friendship can be truly showcased.

Quiet Time

The second hand on my watch ticks constantly and I am continually in motion. Here, there, this, that, most of the time. However, it wasn’t until Thursday of last week where I realized the importance of stopping. Of letting that watch run without eyeing its continued movement. Of relieving yourself of those ticks and having some quiet time.
